    Climate: The climate is artic towards the north with long, cold winters and brief, warm summers. The western and south-eastern parts of Canada experience high rainfall.
    Units of measure and electricity: Canada follows the metric system of measurement and the official electricity unit is 120V, 60 Hz.
    Time Zone: Canada follows six time zones and has daylight saving time.

  • Canada hosts several events that have religious, political and cultural significance. The nation observes the Black History Month in February to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the African-Canadians. Canada also celebrates the National Flag of Canada Day on 15 February which is followed by the Commonwealth Day and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in March. Canada Day is celebrated in July, in which Canadians are encouraged to celebrate their country.
